Materials Needed

To craft a runic weapon, gather the following materials:

• **Runic Smith Hammer**: Necessary for the crafting process, works specifically with bows and staves.
• **Corresponding Wood**: The wood type must match the runic material being used (e.g., Yew for Yew Runic, Frostwood for Frostwood Runic).
• **Exceptional Weapon Base**: Aim for an exceptional weapon base as it has better properties and potential magical attributes.

Preparation

1. **Select Your Wood or Ingots**: Choose the wood that corresponds with your runic material (e.g., Valorite requires Valorite). 2. **Ensure Exceptional Quality**: Aim for an exceptional weapon base to maximize the chances of magical properties and additional bonuses.

Crafting Process

Properties and Bonuses

A valorite exceptional runic weapon then, would do +13 base damage with a potential super slayer attached to it. It would also benefit from indestructible and supremely accurate properties, giving it up to four total properties on one item (this is the only way to obtain four property items).

Types of Runic Materials

• **Valorite/Frostwood**: Highest damage increase, chance at super slayer.
• **Verite/Bloodwood**: Provides power and a chance at slayer, with varying bonuses to accuracy and durability.
• **Other Runic Materials**: Lower-tier materials offer different combinations of damage, accuracy, and durability increases.

Advanced Crafting Tips

1. **Maximize Properties**: Crafting is the only way to obtain a weapon with up to 4 properties. Artifacts typically have a maximum of 3 properties, including slayer. 2. **Balance Approach**: Choose materials based on the desired balance of damage, accuracy, and durability to suit your playstyle and needs. 3. **Testing and Maintenance**: Regularly test and maintain your crafted weapons to ensure they retain their magical properties and effectiveness.
