Compassion
Defined as the quality of having nonjudgmental empathy for one's fellow creatures, Compassion is:
- One of the eight Virtues in the Virtue System
- A Shrine located at 100°50'N, 7°55'W
The Virtue of Compassion
Represented by a heart on the Virtue Gump, Compassion allows characters to resurrect others with a percentage of their max hit points restored — a powerful benefit in both PvM and PvP scenarios.
Resurrection Bonus by Virtue Level
- Seeker of Compassion (Level 1): 20% HP restored
- Follower of Compassion (Level 2): 40% HP restored
- Knight of Compassion (Level 3): 80% HP restored
Applies to resurrections via Magery or Healing.
Gaining Compassion
Compassion is gained by completing:
- NPC Escort Quests (500 gold reward)
- NPC Prisoner Rescues from brigand/orc/lizardman camps (roughly double progress)
