The Virtue of Honesty

Represented by an open palm on the Virtue Gump, Honesty rewards players with discounts when purchasing from NPC merchants. The higher your Honesty rank, the greater the discount. Note that the discount isn't displayed in the merchant window but is confirmed via a system message after the transaction.

Gaining Honesty

To progress in Honesty:

  • Locate and pick up items labeled "Lost Item (Return To Gain Honesty)" found on the ground in both Trammel and Felucca (excluding dungeons and guard zones).
  • Return the item within 3 hours to:
 * Any Virtue Town bank's Lost and Found box for standard credit.
 * The specific town where the item's owner resides for double credit.
 * The original owner for quadruple credit.

Using the Forensic Evaluation skill can help identify the item's owner and their town, enhancing your chances of gaining more virtue points.
